ALL I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS IS...
It's that time of year again....visions of dog cookies and chew toys dance in their furry little heads...Chamonix
and Jaspaar have started their Christmas 'Wish List'...and it goes something like this...
Dear Santa...
Chamonix writes:
This year for Christmas I am forever hopeful that my brother,
Jaspaar will learn how to treat a 'princess' (that would be
me!!) and realize jumping on me from the couch is considered
declasse' (he's SUCH a puppy)
I would also like a fluffy feather bed in every room,
tummy rubs for at least thirty minutes every morning
and night and Mom and Dad's undivided attention every
time I do something adorable (that's pretty much always!).
Also please bring food for the birds so I can bark at them
while they eat at the feeder outside the window.
I would also like it very much if you could find wonderful
families for all of the dogs at all of the shelters.
Please bring health and happiness to all of our friends and
their families.

hmmmm, seeing as I have Chamix's tail to chew on, I really don't need many toys soooo; I would like at least 36 hours in every day so I can get ALL my play time in
I would like TWO food dishes so I don't have to keep going over to Chamix's dish and eating all her food too
I'd like for Mom to be able to find a toy I can't destroy within 3 minutes (or less)
I would like snow every single day, tons and tons of it to tunnel and wriggle in!!
...dog cookies up to here! especially those homemade banana cookies
and I would like for everyone everywhere to always be as happy as I am!
Now that the lists are ready to be mailed....join the Supershelties is a rousing chorus of their favorite Christmas carols:
Joyous Doggies (To the Tune of Hark the Herald Angels Sing)
Hark! The joyous doggies call
Our Mom's re-turning from the mall
Let us greet her joyfully
While she tries to gain en-try
Let us jump and let us yip
Let us cause our mom trip
Let us bring her our best toys
Ones that make the squeaky noise
Weíre so glad to have her home
All doggies hate to be alone
Hark! The joyous doggies call
Our Mom's has returned from the mall!
Dog Ecstasy (to the tune of Christmas Bells)
Dog ecstasy
Ride in the car
It can be near
It can be far
Now in the front
Now in the back
Jumping about
Trampling the pack
Barking out of the window at other doggies who havenít got a car
We are very, very happy doggies
We are very, very happy doggies
Nose on window
Paw on the wheel
Lick the car seats
See how they feel
Tongue in the ear
Feel the car sway
Dogs fall off seats
Dogs still OK
We feel so very special to be included in all this lovely fun
We are very, very happy doggies
We are very, very happy doggies
Ride in the car
We don't care where
We leave the seats
Covered with hair
Ride in the car
Ride in the car
Ride in the car
Ride
in
the
car...
...and to all a GOODnight!!!
