LETTERS...WE GET LETTERS...
Snap (sheltie) from Hotmail writes: "I hope you guys got everything you wanted for Christmas....I got a new furbrother!
YIKES!! Now what do I do with him????"
Jaz replies: WOWWEEEEE!!!! A new chew toy!! (don't tell your Mom I said that!) Ummmm...I think you're supposed to be one
of those "role model" things for him--humans are big on that! So do really good stuff when your Mom is looking, then maybe the new kid will
do the same stuff. Then when your Mom gives him a treat for learning something really good....be sure you get right over there fast ,
stand right next to him (a little lick on the ear wouldn't hurt at all either--looks really cute) and look soooooo proud of what YOU taught him....then
you should get lots and lots of treats too! And watch your toys!! Those little guys have sharp teeth!
Deeanna from Texas writes: Just wanted you to know we loved your site so much that after looking at your rescue links we went over
to the shelter and brought home our own sheltie....AND...we've named him Jazz. Hope that's ok!!
Chamonix replies:...ahem....and what am I....chopped kibble??? I'm guessing you did that because you got a boy dog otherwise I'm
sure you would have named your new sheltie Chamonix! But, we are really, really happy for you and so glad you could give a loving home to one of our
furfriends. Nothing could make us happier, especially at the holidays! Congratulations to you and...Jazz!
Angie from hotmail writes:I LOVE shelties! I have one and I love her so much. I really want to have two.
Should I get a male or a female? Mine is a female (Mandy).
Chamonix replies: Definitely a female! They are sooooo much smarter, and they will cuddle with you and play with you
and NOT destroy EVERY toy they touch like SOME dogs I know (personally). They won't try to sneak into your bed every single time
you aren't looking or eat out of your dish or jump on Mom's lap first all the time! GIRLS RULE!!
Jaspaar replies: Another sheltie for you.....coooooolllll!!! You should get lots and lots of them! It just means
lots more food bowls and lots more toys and lots more tails to pull (oops...I still get in trouble for that one though). Don't
tell Chamix...but I really like having a sister. Mom says were so different that by having one of each she thinks she has the
BEST of all shelties!
